But for me, it was never just about believing.
I had to heal. I had to rise. I had to remember who I was before the world told me who to be.
I had to gather the pieces of myself, the cracked ones, the golden ones, the forgotten ones, and stitch them back together with intention.

I didn’t wake up one day magically confident.
I chose myself.
I trusted the whisper.
I followed the pull.
I stepped into rooms I once shrank in.
I let my voice get louder, my boundaries get clearer,

and my dreams get bigger.

I believed I could…
because I finally decided I was done dimming.
And so I did, in my own sassy, sacred, beautifully imperfect way.

And here’s what I know now:
A woman who heals herself heals her mother, her daughter, and every woman around her.
Our healing is never just ours, it ripples through generations.

After retiring from a meaningful career rooted in service, leadership, and community connection, I stepped into a new chapter, one defined not by slowing down, but by rising into my true creative calling. Becoming the Founder & Creative Director of ,SiSTARSPublicaition.ca and the Editor of Sassy & Sacred Magazine and the Global Grandmothers Council Network Magazine, allowed me to build the kind of platform I always wished existed: a place where women’s stories, initiatives, and voices aren’t just welcomed… they’re celebrated.

As the oldest of eight siblings, I’ve spent my entire life guiding, supporting, and uplifting others. As a mother, grandmother, and sassy‑and‑sacred siSTAR, I carry the lived wisdom of many generations. Retirement didn’t quiet my spirit, it amplified it. It opened the door to a new journey where I could pour my experience, creativity, and heart into helping other women rise.

Today, my passion is supporting women who are walking the same path of reinvention, rediscovery, and creative awakening. I know what it means to start again. I know what it feels like when a new purpose calls your name. And I know the courage it takes to step into visibility after years of giving, working, caregiving, and holding families and communities together.

My work is rooted in Elgin County, yet connected to global circles of women, grandmothers, creatives, and changemakers. My editorial voice blends feminine‑forward design, poetic storytelling, and a kintsugi‑inspired philosophy that honours every crack, comeback, and chapter of a woman’s life.

I am Kintsugi Woman, guided by passion and spirit, a woman who has lived, broken, healed, risen, and now uses her gold to light the way for others. My mission is simple and powerful: to help women create, rise, and be seen. To build platforms where their voices shine. To walk beside them as we continue the journey together. Illuminated to Illuminate.

I walk in the golden footsteps of my mother and grandmother, women each a prism of me, their love, prayers, tears and quiet strength lead this path ahead of me. Their stories, their sacrifices, and their faith remind me where we have been… and why we RISE!

I carry their light forward for the next generation of children, so they may inherit a world woven with compassion, courage, and possibility.

Every step I take is a tribute to them, shining brighter, bolder, braver so the children who come after us can walk their own paths with freedom, dignity, and joy.

And I rise not only for them, but for every woman, in every land, in every lineage. It doesn’t matter what culture, country, or continent we come from. We rise together, woven by shared memory, shared resilience, and shared hope. We rise for the those who came before us. We rise for the siSTARS standing beside us. We rise for the siSTARS who will come after us.

We rise for the future, brighter, bolder, braver, so the next generation can walk their own paths with freedom, dignity, and joy. This is my why. This is my offering.
